The Amethyst Angel was founded in 2007 when we decided an alternative method of publishing was needed, allowing authors to be independent but also collaborate with experienced professionals.

We are not a traditional publishing house, and we are not a so-called self-publishing company who takes the rights to your book. We are an Independent Collaborative Publishing company that offers a personalised, bespoke service that doesn’t cost the earth. We know how daunting it is to publish your first book, or even your second or third. The publishing world is changing rapidly, and knowing which company to use, how to create a good-looking book and not get ripped-off in the process, can be a minefield.

That’s why we have decided to help as many independent authors as possible. We will talk you through the publishing process, help you work out which options are best for you and your book, and then go through the services we can offer, or indeed, recommend someone else who can help you. Once published, the next hurdle is marketing your book and getting it out into the world. To help with this, we have decided to offer all of the authors we help the opportunity to be featured on this website, on Facebook and on Twitter.
